DOWNEY (Banbridge, Co. Down) - January 16, 2006, Desmond, R.I.P. after a short illness, beloved husband of Mena (née Dobbins) and loving father of Arthur, Mary, Anne, Paul and Eilís, Roisin, Conleth and Conor; deeply regretted by his loving wife, sons, daughters, daughters-in-law, sons-in -law, grandchildren, sisters Anna and Eileen and entire family circle. Funeral from his home, 26 Willow Drive today (Thursday) at 12.15 o'clock to St Patrick's Church, Banbridge for 1 o'clock Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Our Lady of Lourdes pray for him. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Action Cancer, c/o Doran's Undertakers, 22 Kilkeel Road, Hilltown, BT34 5XZ. House private.
