RONAN-MARTIN, (Dublin) January 16, 2019. Dr. Gertrude. Peacefully at home under the care of the hospice home care team. Beloved wife of Dr. Joseph Martin and mother of Niamh. Sadly missed by her loving and devoted husband, daughter, her partner, grandsons, brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, colleagues and friends. Funeral Mass at 12 o’clock on Saturday in the Church of the Holy Name, Beechwood Avenue and afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium.

Deepest sympathy to Dr Joseph and Niamh on the death of Gertie.Only heard this morning on Playback on RTÉ. I was in Mounmellick with Gertie and only got to know her in 5 th year with her beautiful blonde hair. Wonderful memories ,Ita Tobin.
