JACKSON Michael Joseph

JACKSON Michael Joseph (1934-2012, age 77), beloved husband and father - Friday, March 2, 2012, in Pensacola, Florida, a native of Ireland, he was born August 8, 1934 in Dublin to James and Kathleen Jackson, he joined the Royal Navy at age 14, continuing the proud family tradition of military service by serving aboard the HMS Flint Castle and the HMS Gambia. He immigrated to the United States in 1962 as an electronic engineer where he worked at General Dynamics and Memorax before starting his own business Hibernia Research. After ten years of retirement, Michael then drove a school bus for Escambia County School district in Pensacola, Florida. Michael is survived by his wife of 53 years Bridget, his three girls, Linda, Eileen, and Heather, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law, nephews, nieces,as well as his brothers and sisters in law. His loving heart, brilliant mind, and gentle nature touched us all and will continue to live on in the hearts of his family whom he cherished.
