COUNIHAN (née Hartigan), Marie, (Newlawn, Ballyboughal) - June 29, 2015, in her 90th year, in the the loving care of the staff at Kilbrew Nursing Home, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the the late Ivan and grandmother of the late Tim; wonderfull mother to Ian, Peter, Mary, John, Frank, Donal and Anne. Will be greatly missed by her daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends. Reposing at her daughter Mary's residence (Ballyboughal) tomorrow, Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass at 12pm in Assumption of Our Lady Church, Ballyboughal on Thursday, July 2, followed by Funeral to Ballyboughal Cemetery. Family flowers only.
COUNIHAN Marie (née Lane), (Querrin House, Querrin, Kilkee, Co. Clare) - The family of the late Marie wish to thank you all most sincerely for your very many kind expressions of sympathy on Marie's passing. To those who called to our home, attended the reposing and Funeral Mass especially those who travelled long distances to be with us, those who sent Mass cards, messages of sympathy and made donations in lieu of flowers. We extend our sincere appreciation to her G.P. Dr. Damien Barry and to the doctors, nurses and staff of The Galway Clinic for their wonderful care and kindness. Our thanks to our great friends and neighbours for all their help and support. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude. Month's Mind Mass for Marie on Sunday morning July 24 in St. Mary's Church, Carrigaholt at 10.00a.m.
