YOUNG, Mervyn Samuel (Killiney, Co. Dublin) May 20, 2023. Very peacefully after a brief illness, in the care of the staff at SVPH. Beloved husband of recently deceased Joyce, and devoted dad of Paul Rachel and Geoff. He will be sadly missed by his children; Paul’s partner Sarah, son-in-law Ed, daughter-in-law Carmel; his grandchildren Chantelle, Tim (and Aisling), Andrew (and Rebecca), Stephen (and Kaitlyn), Aoife, Ciara, Mark and Dervla; great-grandchildren Beauden and Kingsley; Sandra and Catherine; sister Ruth; brother-in-law Derek, sister-in-law Hazel; nieces, nephew, extended family and friends. A Service of Thanksgiving will take place tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11.00am in Dun Laoghaire Evangelical Church, Lower Glenageary Road followed by burial in St. Kieran's Cemetery, Kilkenny (due 3.30pm approx.).
