HYNES - Celine (née Corkery) - The Hynes and Corkery families would like to express our gratitude to the many people who sent kind expressions of sympathy in the form of cards, messages, letters, emails and left messages of condolences online when Celine died on March 20,. We would also like to thank everyone who travelled to attend the funeral in Rosslare and all the neighbours, friends and relatives who visited the house, brought food and support to the families with offers of accommodation for visiting family members. We are grateful to you all. A special thank you to Celine’s carer, Margaret, who over the last several years tended to and became friends with Celine. Also to Fr. James Murphy, Celine’s parish priest, who made home visits on a regular basis and to Fr. David Murphy who stepped in to replace Fr. James at short notice to support the family and cover the funeral when Fr. James was unavailable due to COVID. And finally to the undertakers, Paddy Mulligan and Bernadette Herterich, we thank you for everything. The Holy sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
