HICKEY, Marie (neé McGeady) (Foxrock, Dublin 18) February 7, 2023. Peacefully, in the kind care of all the staff in Our Lady’s Ward, St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Dearly loved wife of Henry for over 62 years and loving mother of Catherine, Henry, Jack, Denis, Fiona, Barbara, Aidan and Mark. Marie will be very sadly missed by her husband, sons, daughters, Ray and Patrick, Ana and Ewa, grandchildren, extended family and friends. May she rest in peace. Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 10.00am in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park, Ballycorus Road, Dublin 18. As we approach Marie’s first anniversary, Catherine, Henry, Jack, Denis, Fiona, Barbara, Aidan and Mark wish to thank all who sympathised with us and supported us during the past year. We would like to thank most sincerely the staff of Our Lady’s Ward, St Vincent’s University Hospital and Fr Damian O’Reilly and the Chaplaincy team who supported us during Mum’s final illness. We wish to thank Carnegie’s Funeral Directors for their guidance and Fr Gerry Kane PP Foxrock Church who celebrated Mum’s funeral Mass. We are grateful to all who expressed their condolences and who attended Mum’s Funeral Mass especially those who travelled long distances. Please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our appreciation.
