MELLETT Elizabeth ("Avonleigh", Galway Road and Golf Links Road, Roscommon) - Elizabeth passed away on May 11, 2016. She is very sadly missed by Mary, Pearse, Mark, Ruth, Sinead, Ciaran and her extended family. Elizabeth was our beloved daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, niece, cousin, friend, neighbour and work colleague. Sincere thanks to all who supported us during her long stay in the Mater Hospital and during her final three days in Roscommon. Your prayers, Masses and messages were so comforting to us throughout this sad time. Thanks to the doctors and nurses who cared for her, especially Doctors David Sharkey, Noel Farrell and the late Pat McHugh who looked after her during her life. Special thanks to Fr. Stan Mellett for his support to her in hospital and at her Funeral Mass celebrating her life, assisted by the priests from the Roscommon Parish, the Chaplain from Athlone I.T. and the Church Choir, organist Miriam Hunt and soloist Síofra Cox which was always so important to Elizabeth. Thanks also to the many friends, neighbours and work colleagues who attended her funeral and helped us in so many ways. Finally a special word of thanks to the Smyth family of Smyth's Funeral Directors and to all who assisted at her burial in Labane. To express the gratitude of the family, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.May Elizabeth rest in peace.

My deepest condolences on the passing of Elizabeth to her whole family. I still remember her from a time we were both teenagers and living on the same (Golf Links Road). May she rest in peace. Finian O'Brien and family
