KILKELLY - Sheila (née Walsh) Castlebar, Co. Mayo (formerly of Kilvine, Co. Mayo), on Friday May 30, 2025, peacefully, in her 91st year, surrounded by her adoring family, in the compassionate care of the team at Sonas, Knock, Co. Mayo. Sheila will be forever loved and deeply missed by her husband of 67 years John, her children Siobhan, Frank, Brigid, Fionnghuala, Maria, Sinead and Ursula, her sons-in-law Neil, Seamus and Cathal, her twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, her nieces, nephews and extended family in Ireland, the UK, Dubai and USA, and her very many friends from across her long and wonderfully rich life. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace. Reposing at Cody's Funeral Home, Linenhall Street, Castlebar, F23 XY63, on Sunday (June 1) from 4.30pm with Removal at 6pm to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar. Requiem Mass on Monday (June 2) at 11am. Sheila will be laid to rest afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery. House private please.
