DEMPSEY, Patrick Joseph (Pat), (Dalkey, Co. Dublin), May 20, 2023. Peacefully in his 96th year, in the presence of his family and in the loving care of the sisters and staff of Our Lady’s Manor, Dalkey. Formerly of Dempsey Brothers, Monkstown and Dun Laoghaire. Beloved and cherished husband of Mary; most dearly loved and loving father of Ivan, Erica, Odette, Elizabeth, Jane and Patrick; treasured father-in-law of Katherine, Marc, Clodagh, John and Tim; beloved grandad of Katy, Patrick, Jack, Lucy, Seán, Jessica, Mèlanie, Louis, Daniel (RIP) and Alexander; loving great-grandfather of Elisabeth, George, Ted and Annie; sadly mourned by his adored nieces and nephews, relatives and wide circle of friends. Reposing tomorrow (Wednesday) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm in Carnegie’s Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94 XK28). Funeral Mass on Thursday, (May 25) at 10.00 am in the Church of the Assumption, Dalkey followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the National Council for the Blind of Ireland. Pat’s wife Mary and family express their sincere appreciation for your kindness and friendship. May he Rest in Peace.
