BUTTERLY Thurlo (Sydney, Australia, and formerly Churchtown, Dublin) - December 14, 2013 following an illness bravely borne. Beloved husband and best friend of Jean, and dearly loved Dad to Simon and Luke, father-in-law of Sally, and grandfather of Finn and Alice. Pre-deceased by his brother Ciaran. He will be sadly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, sisters Sr. Mairead M.M.M. and Sheila, brothers Martin, John, and Brian, his parents-in-law Dr. Finn O'Callaghan and his wife Lorna, Luke's fiancée Rachel, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends both in Ireland and Australia. Funeral Mass will take place tomorrow, Wednesday at 12 noon in the Church of St. Anthony in the fields, Terrey Hills, Sydney. A special Mass will be held at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown, Dublin, on Saturday next, December 21 at 7.15pm to celebrate Thurlo's life. His Irish friends, business, and sporting colleagues are invited to attend.
