O'DONNELL, (Manor Cunningham, Co. Donegal and Lucan, Glenageary, Co. Dublin) January 23, 2023. Peacefully, after a long illness, he was surrounded by his devoted family, in the kind and loving care of the wonderful staff at Our Lady's Hospice, Wicklow. Beloved and cherished by his wife, Valerie and son, Eoin, he will be profoundly missed. Also lovingly remembered by his son, Brian, his daughters Mary and Nuala, his granddaughter, Petra; his brothers Eugene and Aidan, nephews, nieces, mother-in-law, sisters-in-aw and brothers-in law. Also fondly remembered by former colleagues at the Department of Agriculture and by a wide circle of relatives, friends and neighbours.In accordance with Brendan's wishes, his body has been donated to medical science. Consequently there will be no funeral. An occasion to celebrate Brendan's life will be held in the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel, Killiney, Co Dublin at 2.00pm on Saturday, January, 28.
