BERGIN (née Heavey), Columba, (Rathgar, Dublin) - April 7, 2014, in the wonderful care of all the staff at the Chestnut Unit of Clonskeagh Nursing Home after a long struggle with Parkinson's Disease bravely borne. Beloved wife of the late Patrick J. Bergin, loving mother of Catherine, David. Joseph, Mark, Patricia, Philip and Lisa and mother-in-law of the late Ceara. Will be very sadly missed by her family, sons-in-law Gearóid, Dermot and Roddy, daughters-in-law Naomi and Jane, grandchildren Elizabeth, David, Caroline, Ronan, Daniel, Colin, Leonie, Richard, Hazel, Lucy, Sally, Jack, Joe, Peter and Meghan, brothers Aidan, Joseph and Anthony, sisters Dymphna, Áine and Louie, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Aungier Street today (Tuesday). Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) morning to the Church of the Three Patrons, Rathgar arriving for 11.30am Funeral Mass and thereafter to Deans Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Clonskeagh Nursing Home Comfort Fund.
BERGIN (née Heavey) Columba (Rathgar). On her First Anniversary (April 7) Columba's children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters and brothers would like to express their sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with them over their sad loss. We thank all those who attended the funeral Mass, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, messages and flowers, all were greatly appreciated. Her Anniversary Mass will be held in The Church of The Three Patrons, Rathgar on Sunday April 12, at 10.30am. Her memory will always be with us.
