HOWARD, , John of Blackrock, Co. Dublin (formerly Knocknamana, Clarecastle and Ennis, Co. Clare) who passed away peacefully on 8 January 2025 after a short illness. Predeceased by his parents, brothers Philip and Patrick, and sisters Ethel and Mary. Devoted husband to Mary, beloved father to Cathy, Philip and Trish, much loved father-in-law to Andy, Niamh and Adrian, and adored grandfather to Cara, Emily, Oscar, Senan, Cian and Luca. Sadly missed by his sisters- and brother-in-law, nephews and wider family and friends. Sincere thanks to the staff of Castle Homecare and Blackrock Hospice for their dedicated care. Reposing today Friday 10 January from 5pm-7pm in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Blackrock (A94X308). A service of celebration for John will take place tomorrow Saturday 11 January at 2.30pm in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Blackrock (A94X308), followed by private cremation.
