Good bye Christine

It is still unbelievable for me: Christine has gone, a tragic loss! I had known Christine since many years, as a far distant relative searching for our common roots in Germany.

She has been fighting for years and finally lost. But Christine has not really gone, she will be alive in my memories. She just has gone to another life and one day we will meet again.

Elmar Krammig (Partenstein, Germany)

A fighter

I knew Christine through the Scholar's Trust and always regarded her as a very strong, capable and wise woman.I got to know her better over the years when we disability proofed the scholarship applications each year. We had a great rhythm and worked really well together. She was tough but fair and always acknowledged people who had a strong "can do" attitude. She approached her cancer the same way and involved herself in giving to other people even while still undergoing treatment. I am really sorry to hear that she lost the battle for herself, but not without a fight. However she has left a strong and lasting legacy through her work and her involvement in breast cancer treatment. She will be remembered and her family will be proud that she was in their lives, even if not for long enough.

Bernie
