O'BRIAIN, Colm, S.C. (Sandymount, Dublin 4) - May 25, 2016, (unexpectedly), at St. Vincent's University Hospital, beloved husband of Bernadette Kirby and much loved father of Colm and Conor; deeply regretted by his wife and sons, his mother Breda, brother Esmonde with Eilis, sister Ruth with Peter, sister-in-law Maria, nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles, cousins, relatives, colleagues and many friends. Rest in Peace. Removal this Sunday evening (May 29) to the Church of St. Mary, Star of the Sea, Sandymount, arriving at 7.00pm. Funeral on Monday (May 30) after 10.00am Requiem Mass to the Cemetery attached to the Church of the Holy Family, Ballycroy, Co. Mayo arriving for burial at 4.30pm approx.

(Sandymount, Dublin) (May 25, 2016) On Colm's First Anniversary, Bernadette, Conor and Colm, together with Ruth and Esmonde would like to thank everyone who has supported us in the year since Colm's death. Our gratitude goes out to the clergy and all those who attended the removal and funeral Mass in Sandymount and to the friends and neighbours in Ballycroy, Co. Mayo where Colm rests. Thank you to all who sent Mass cards, wrote such beautiful letters, telephoned and texted and have been such good friends and colleagues over the past year. We would like to thank Colm's friends and colleagues from school, UCD, the Bar of Ireland and Colm's 'devils' for all their support and kindness. We would also like to thank the teachers and boys at Gonzaga College, the members of Lansdowne LTC and the Book Club. A special thank you to Clanna Gael Fontenoy GAA Club and in particular the boys and coaches of the under 16 team of which Colm was so proud. Thank you also to all our relatives and friends, near and far, whose kindness and support will always be remembered.To Colm, always in our hearts,
with love now and forever.
