STEELE (Ronnie) (Silver Hill, Errigal House, Emyvale, Co. Monaghan) - Ronnie's wife Lyla, daughters Christina, Orla, Fenella and son Stuart, grandchildren and great-grandson, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and extended family would like to offer our thanks to the many people who showed great kindness and support during Ronnie's illness and in the time since he left us on January 19, 2019. We would greatly like to thank our wonderful friends and colleagues at Silver Hill. We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to all his close friends who provided wonderful support to the family. Sincere thanks to all who helped in the organising of the Guards of Honour both at the Funeral Home and at the Church. We thank his close colleagues, friends and business associates, as well as all of those who travelled from near and far to pay their respects. We also thank all the people who sent kind messages and Mass cards to the family as well as donations to the Irish Cancer Society. We are deeply grateful to the carers, nurses and staff of the Mater Private Hospital Dublin and Cavan General Hospital for their care during Ronnie's illness. Our sincere appreciation to Fr. John Flanagan and Fr. Hubert Martin who presided over the Funeral ceremonies and who made them so special and personal. Thank you also to the Eucharistic Ministers, those who read prayers and readings and those that provided the music and singing. A special thanks to Peter McMahon who carried out the funeral arrangements with such care and dignity. We understand that it is impossible to thank everyone individually and hope that you accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
