O'CONNELL, Hubert (Bertie) (Kilgarron Park, Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow, formerly Headford, Co. Galway and ex - RTÉ) - June 13, 2019, peacefully, in the presence of his devoted family, while being cared for by the wonderful team at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, predeceased by his brother John-Joe and his sister Eileen (recently deceased). Deeply regretted by his loving family, his wife of 54 years Sadie (née Flood), children Bernadette (Killilea), Helen (Basquel), Damien and Sinéad (Moran), sisters Mary and Bernadette, brother Christy, daughter-in-law Claire, sons-in-law Mick, Tony and Declan, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at his home tomorrow (Tuesday, June 18) from 4 o'c., followed by removal to The Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Enniskerry, arriving for evening prayers at 7 o'c. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11.30 o'c., with burial afterwards in Curtlestown Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to Charabanc, Enniskerry can be made in memory of Bertie at the church.
