HUGHES - David (Clonsilla, Dublin and former Deputy General of the I.N.M.O and former Board Member of the H.S.A) April 1st 2026 peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Angela, cherished father of Freda, Irene and Christopher and dear stepfather of Patrick, devoted grandfather of Eve, Joe, Frankie, Shane and Paudie and brother of Michael, Ann-Marie and Winnie. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Brian and Steve, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. R.I.P. Reposing at his Residence on Monday evening (April 6th) from 3pm to 6pm. Removal to St. Mochtas Church, Porterstown on Tuesday morning (April 7th) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by Cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium. Family flowers only, please. Donations if desired to St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown or the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
