WARD, Sister Ita RSCJ. (Society of the Sacred Heart, Cedar House, 35 Mount Anville Park, Dublin 14) July 25, 2020, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of Cedar House Nursing Home; deeply regretted by her nieces Mary O’Kane, Patricia O’Kane, nephew Anthony O’Kane, her religious communities and friends in Ireland, Scotland, Uganda and Kenya. Rest in peace. Due to current Government/HSE advice on public gatherings, a private funeral service will take place. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to recent restrictions cannot, are invited to leave a message in the Condolences Section on www.irishtimes.com

So sad to hear of Sister Ward's passing after a long and generous life in the service of all her "children". She was Mistress of Junior Boarders in Mt Anville when I was just 8 yrs old. I loved her most dearly. Mary Heseltine (Lovatt-​Dolan)
