FULHAM, Derek, (The Meetings, Avoca, Wicklow and formerly Bonnybrook/Artane, Dublin), peacefully in the company of family, in Our Ladies Hospice, Blackrock on the 8th of January 2025. Loving husband of Dairearca and wonderful father to Sorcha, Michael, Seán and Max, son of the late Lily and James; pre-deceased by his younger siblings Susan and Robert. Deeply missed by his sisters Enda and Liz and brothers Gerard, Colm and Sé, parents in-law Micheál and Kitty O’Neill, and his extended Fulham and O’Neill family. Derek’s sense of humour, quick wit, and kindness beyond belief, will be missed by his many friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal. A gathering of Derek’s family and friends will be held in The Meetings, Avoca, Co. Wicklow, Y14VW08 on Thursday the 9th of January from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. His Funeral Mass will take place on Friday the 10th of January at 10.00am in the Church of St Joseph, The Artisan, Bonnybrook, D17R971, after which Derek will be laid to rest with his beloved parents in Fingal Cemetery, Balgriffin.
