MURPHY, John Francis, (Rathmines, Dublin. Retired Consultant Obstetrician, National Maternity Hospital); August 14th, 2025, peacefully; following wonderful care in Sligo University Hospital. Beloved husband of Anne. He will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Anne and his children Ronan, Fiona, Tom, Edward and Annabel, grandchildren: John, Sean, Cara, Hugh, Ruaidhrí, Francis, George and Pearl, sisters Katherine, Margaret and Carmel, daughters-in-law Fiona and Joanna, sons-in-law John and Stephen, brothers-in-law Peter, Paul and Declan and a large circle of friends and colleagues. Predeceased by his loving parents John and Carmel and his sister Germaine. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, 54 Aungier St. Dublin 2, today (Monday) 18th August from 5 to 7 p.m. Removal tomorrow (Tuesday) morning, (19th August, 2025), to the Church of the Three Patrons, Rathgar, arriving for 10 o’c Funeral Mass, (which can be viewed on the following link: https://rathgarparish.ie/webcam/), to the Victorian Chapel, at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross.
