SMITH Prof. Louis P.F., (Retired UCD and N.F.A.) - November 25, 2012, after a long illness borne with courage and grace, in the loving care of Bloomfield Care Centre, and formerly of The Elms, Dublin 4, beloved husband of the recently deceased Sheila, and much loved Dad to Brendan, Philip, Eileen, Veronica, Isabel and Myles; deeply regretted by his twelve loving grand children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother Neil, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends. May he rest now in great peace. Removal from his daughter Eileen's home this (Tuesday) evening to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook arriving at 5.30 o'clock Mass to celebrate Louis' wonderfully full life will be at 10 o'clock tomorrow (Wednesday) morning followed by burial at Mount Venus Cemetery, Rockbrook, Rathfarnham.

<p>sympathy</p> <p>as a very grateful past pupil of Louis from 1957 ag student I wish to offer my condolences to the family. he was a lovely man, very approachable, good humoured, sincere and he could be forgetful. he was loved by all. I have great memories of him, learned a lot from him and will never forget him.</p> <p>michael brenock</p>
