McGIBNEY - Mary (née O’Meara) (Sandyford and late of Inchicore) Died January 11, 2020. On the sad occasion of Mary’s First Anniversary, her family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with us on our bereavement. We are most appreciative of all those who attended Mary’s removal and funeral service. We thank those who sent cards, letters of sympathy, expressed their condolences and have been so supportive since Mary’s untimely death. A very special word of thanks to Prof’s John Reynolds, the late Donal Hollywood, John Kennedy and their dedicated medical teams at St. James’s Hospital and St Luke’s Rathgar for the wonderful care, support and attention afforded to Mary as she fought her various cancers with gracious dignity and unfailing courage over many years. A final word of thanks to Laura-Jean Kennedy and her colleagues at Fanagans Dundrum, together with Brian Whiteside, Humanist, who most sensitively and supportively assisted us with arranging Mary’s funeral service. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that you will accept this notice as an acknowledgement of our deep gratitude and sincere appreciation of your support.
“Just to be beside you was enough”
Rest in Peace
