MAWBY, Colin (Dublin, London) Composer, November 24, 2019 (suddenly) at Tallaght Hospital. Beloved partner and dearest friend of Ann and loving father of Ben and Clement. Sadly missed by his family, his grandson Lucas, sisters Jenny, Anne and Hilary, brother Roger and Ben and Clement’s mother Beverley. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Aungier Street tomorrow (Friday) with family in attendance from 5.00pm. until 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday (November 30) at 11.30am. in the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Whitefriar Street, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Dublin Simon Community and MSF.

MAWBY - Colin, (First Anniversary) - deeply loved and cherished - never forgotten. Ann, Ben, Clement and extended family wish to thank all those who sympathised with them on the death of dear Colin. A special word of thanks to Peter and Dee for their unfailing love and support; Heartfelt thanks to Fanagans Funeral Directors; Fr. Thomas McCarthy OP, Canon John Flaherty, Fr. Brian McKay O Carm, Fr. Tom Higgins O Carm and the Carmelite Community, Whitefriar Street, Br Niall, Fr. Eamonn and the Franciscan Community, Merchant's Quay; Fr. John Kelly, chaplain at Tallaght Hospital and Canon William Deverall. To Martin Baker, who travelled from Westminster Cathedral, The Leinster Singers, David Greally, Blanaid Murphy and the Palestrina choir, for all of their exquisite music making at Colin's Requiem - and to the Leinster Singers and Danusia Oslizlok for more of Colin's beautiful music at the Crematorium. To Jürgen and Petra, Thomas and Melanie in Germany; to our kind neighbours; our dear friends; to colleagues and members of the RTE choirs. Mass will be offered for your intentions. Colin, thank you for your love and treasured music.

I have known Colin since he was a choirboy at Westminster Cathedral, We kept in touch over the years especially in the last 20 years when I was at the Oxford Oratory. He was a musician of the highest integrity. Edward de Rivera
