CORKERY, (Cork and Dublin), July 9, 2016, (unexpectedly but peacefully at home), Joan (IPA) daughter of the late Jack and Mary and sister of Michéal, Seán, Finbarr, Ann (McCarthy), Bríd (Brady), Patricia (McNally) and the late baby Máire. Sadly missed by her loving family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reception prayers on today (Monday) at 1.45pm, followed by requiem Mass at 2.00pm in the Church of St. Mary & St. John, Ballincollig. Funeral afterwards to Whitechurch Cemetery.May she Rest in Peace

Please accept my condolences. Joan was my boss and mentor from 1993-97 at ECDPM. From Joan I learned so much and only had respect for her intellect and commitment to public service. Dr Tony Land
