O'DONNELL, (Downhill Rd, Ballina, Co. Mayo) - 25th July 2023, after a sudden illness, at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin. Gerry, predeceased by his parents Paddy and Kathleen, brothers Billy and Brendan. Gerry, beloved husband of Olive. Adored father of Olga, Olwyn, Rodger and Rodney. Deeply missed by his wife, children, precious grandchildren Conor, Poppy, Jack and Caimin, as well as his son-in-law Angus and his daughter-in-law Martha, sisters Mary and Annette, brother Paddy, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. In particular, friends made through the rugby community, which was such a large part of Gerry’s life. Reposing at Mc Gowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina on Friday evening, 28th July, from 7pm until 9pm. Funeral cortege will leave Mc Gowan’s Funeral Home Ballina on Saturday 28th July at 11am, with Requiem Mass at 11:30am in St. Murdechs Cathedral Ballina. Afterwards, burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina. Gerry’s funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.ballinaparish.org Family flowers only, please.
