ENNIS, Patrick (Rory) (Dunshaughlin, Dublin and Wicklow), November 15, 2019 peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in the Maple Ward, Connolly Hospital after a long illness borne without complaint. Adored husband to Joan and loving father to Nicola and brother to Eileen. Pat will be sadly missed by the extended Ennis, Burke and Bale families, his friends and neighbours and his colleagues at Garda HQ. A service to celebrate Pats life will be held in March at St. Columba’s Church, Greenane, Co Wicklow. “He bestrode this narrow world like a Colossus”
