O'SULLIVAN Denis, Ohermong Cross, Caherciveen, Co. Kerry - As we remember Denis on the First Anniversary of his passing on November 17, 2014, Mary, Donogh, Dermot, Norma, Rory, Thelma and Bronagh would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to our kind and wonderful neighbours and friends and to our extended families for your help and generosity during this difficult time. We thank all those from far and near who sympathised with us on our very sad loss at the wake, removal, Requiem Mass and burial. Your Mass cards, perpetual enrolments, letters of condolence, phone calls, donations to Marymount Hospice and those who called to our home have been a source of great comfort. Special thanks to Dr. John Shanahan for attending to Denis with such care and kindness; to Dr. Brian O'Donovan, Sinead, Cathy and Mary; to the members of the medical profession of Bon Secours Hospital Tralee and Cork; to C.U.H; to the ambulance personnel; to all the staff of Marymount University Hospital and Hospice for the medical attention and nursing care afforded to Denis during his illness and for your compassion and kindness to ensure that Denis' final weeks were dignified and peaceful. Special thanks also to Dr. Patricia Sheahan, nurses Margaret, Gemma and Noirín for your outstanding care; to nurses Elaine O'Shea, Alice Wharton and Valerie Mackey of St. Anne's Hospital, Caherciveen, for you endless support; to pharmacist Shane O'Neill and your helpful staff; to Daly funeral directors for your sensitivity and professionalism; to John Sugrue for delivering the graveside address. Sincere thanks to Fr. Larry Kelly for concelebrating the Requiem Mass full of fond remembrance with Fr. Michael Brennan of Glenstal Abbey and to all of you who took an active part in the ceremony; to Marian O'Shea for your choice of hymns delivered so beautifully. Our gratitude to Renard GAA Club and ACARD Ltd. for forming guards of honour; to Caherciveen Garda Síochána for traffic stewarding. As it would not be possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this Acknowledgement as a token of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. The First Anniversary Mass for Denis will be celebrated in Daniel O'Connell Memorial Church, Caherciveen, Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 6.15pm.
