USHIODA, , Dr. Satoshi (Glenageary, Co. Dublin and late of Kasama-shi, Ibaraki, Japan), (recipient of the Japanese Order of the Sacred Treasure with Gold Rays), (retired lecturer in University College Dublin), June 26, 2018, following a long illness peacefully in the loving care of the Beacon Hospital, Sandyford. Beloved husband of Yoshiko and dearly loved father of son Kazi and daughter Ema. Sadly missed by his family, daughter-in-law Marie and grandsons Cian and Eric, by his sisters Yoshiko and Kazuko, nephews, nieces and other relatives, former colleagues and friends in Ireland and Japan. Reposing tomorrow (Friday) in Quinn’s of Glasthule from 5pm to 7pm. Removal Saturday to Mount Jerome Crematorium arriving for Funeral Service at 10am. No flowers. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society. "May he rest in peace."
