WAGHORNE - Remembering our beloved Una Thomasina (Tommy) Waghorne (nee Wheeler) today (Twentieth Anniversary, November 8 2005).

She remains in the thoughts and hearts of her loving family every day; a much loved wife, mother, sister and daughter and now a fondly talked about grandmother (Granny Tommy).

After 25 years of wondering (and tears), I discovered that Nora had been raised by such a wonderful mother (and father!). The photos and fond memories that Nora shared were heartwarming, including that she and Tommy often chatted at night while lying on her parent’s bed. To know that Nora and her mother were so close was a gift. I am very sad never to have met the mother whom Nora loved so deeply and continues to miss so much. It is a consolation that her positive legacy lives on, including through her fabulous daughter. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being the mother Nora needed when I couldn’t.
