CORKERY, Brother John Matthew OSB, (Glenstal Abbey) - January 31, 2012, suddenly and peacefully at Glenstal; beloved son of Finbarr and Carmel (Rathpeacon, Cork), and brother of Mary, Fiona and David; sadly missed by his family, brothers-in-law Seamus and Eoin, sister-in-law Mary, nieces and nephews; the Abbot and monastic community of Glenstal; staff, students and parents of Glenstal Abbey School and a wide circle of relatives and friends. Rest in peace. Reposing in the monastery from 3.30 p.m. until 5 p.m. today (Thursday) followed by removal to the Abbey Church. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Friday) at 11.30 a.m., followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery.
