LACY - Jim - On the first anniversary of Jim’s passing, Pat, Patricia, Joanne and their families would like to express our most sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us during our time of great sorrow. To neighbours, friends from near and far, colleagues from UCD, for wonderful kindnesses shown in so many ways and to those who sent messages, letters, Mass cards, we send our loving appreciation. We extend our deep gratitude to the carers from Applewood and also to Jim’s GPs Dr. Bill O’Brien and Dr. Frank McCarthy for their care and attention to Jim through the years. We would particularly like to thank the Resuscitation Unit in Tallaght University Hospital for their professional and sensitive attention to Jim in his final hours. We thank Canon Martin Cosgrove for helping us to organise Jim’s requiem mass which he celebrated with particular kindness and sensitivity.
