RYAN, Breda (née O’Brien) (Pine Valley, Ballinteer, Dublin 16 and formerly of Rossfinch, Ballinahinch, Co. Tipperary) - On Sunday, October 1st, 2023, in the kind lovely care of Newtownpark Nursing Home, Blackrock, Co. Dublin. Predeceased by her son Barry and sister Nora. Deeply regretted by her husband Jim, son Brendan, daughters Barbara and Deirdre, brother Willie, sister Frances Maxwell, sister and brother-in-law Kathleen and Pat McMahon, daughter-in-law Aileen, sons-in-law Larry Ryan and Gordon O’Neill. Will be missed her grandchildren Morgan, Conor and Fergal; Liam, Myles, Hugh and Jack; Alice and Maebh; by her nephews, nieces, cousins and by her nursing colleagues from Steevens Hospital, Rotunda Hospital and Simpsons Hospital, Dundrum and by her great neighbours and friends. Breda will be reposing at Larry Massey Funeral Home, Eden Centre, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, on Wednesday, October 4th from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, October 5th at 10am in St. John the Evangelist Church, Ballinteer Avenue, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Victorian Chapel, Harold’s Cross at 12.15pm. Family flowers only, please, for donation and webcam details please refer to www.rip.ie. Breda enjoyed a long and good life; she loved and was loved; she laughed and was laughed at.
