McCARTHY - Dr Conor. On this, the first anniversary of his death, and in loving memory, the McCarthy family wish to gratefully acknowledge all of those who sympathised with us on the occasion of his death. To all relatives, friends and former colleagues who attended his funeral, sent letters of condolence or left online messages, we send our sincere thanks. We also wish to thank Fr Patrick Ryan of the Mill Hill Missionaries who celebrated his funeral Mass, assisted by Monsignor Dermot Lane, and prayed with us at his burial in Deansgrange Cemetery. We particularly wish to thank all the staff at Highfield Hospital, Swords Road who looked after Conor during his lengthy incapacity with expertise, kindness and respect - he remained Dr Conor to the end - and also the surgical staff of the Mater Hospital who looked after him on several occasions. Our thanks also to Massey Funeral Directors who were most helpful with all the funeral arrangements. Mass will be offered.
