GANNON - Bernadette (née Gillespie), Malahide, Co. Dublin and formerly of Dromod, Co. Leitrim. As we approach the first anniversary of Bernie's death, Louise, Tom, Frank and Bernie's extended family wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their sad loss. We are very grateful to all those who attended Mum's Funeral Mass in Malahide and to those who attended Annaduff when we brought Mum home to be laid to rest next to Dad. We are very thankful to Dr. Sam Burrows and the staff of Temenos Medical Centre who extended such kind care to Mum during her illness. The Staff of Four Ferns Nursing Home were also exceptional in their tender care and medical support to Mum throughout her stay there. Many thanks to those who shared kind and thoughtful messages online. We received many beautiful letters, cards and flowers, they meant the world at such a sad time. We wish to extend our love and gratitude to our friends and to Mum's friends who supported us so thoughtfully during Mum's illness and over the past year. Warm thanks also to Fr. Simon Cadam who travelled from Granard to say Mum's beautiful Funeral Mass in Malahide and for graveside Prayers in Annaduff. Special thank you to Matthew and Deirdre Gilsenan and Peter Devine for the magnificent music at Mum's funeral. Thanks also to Fanagans Kirwans Funeral Home for their professionalism.
We pray Mum is reunited with Dad, John and Hugh in Heaven.
We will miss her gentle, loving presence forever.
