CLANCY, Eibhlín (neé O’Shaughnessy) (Rathgar and Drimnagh) - 2nd January 2022, widow of the late Patrick Joseph, and Former teacher Pearse College, City of Dublin VEC. Deeply mourned by her loving family: daughters Pádraigín and Bláithín, son Donnchadh, grandchildren Cormac, Clara, Conor and Róisín, daughter-in -law Alicia Ruiz Lopez, son-in -law, Michael Philbey, long-time companion and dear friend Patrick Moloney. Eibhlín will be sadly missed by her many cousins, relatives, colleagues and friends, and by the members of the 4th Battalion Dublin Brigade 1916 Relatives Group. Eibhlín died peacefully at home after a long incapacitation heroically and gracefully borne in the kind care of her loving daughter Pádraigín assisted by Emelita Areola, Caremark, St James Hospital and the Palliative Care team of Our Lady’s Hospice. ‘Solas na bhFlaitheas go bhfeice sí Ceol na nAingeal go gcloise sí’ Removal today (Wednesday) to the Three Patrons Church, Rathgar arriving for 12 noon Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Bohernabreena Cemetery.
