FLANAGAN, Desmond (Malahide and late of Bank of Ireland) - August 30, 2015, peacefully at Beaumont Hospital, beloved husband of Una and loving father of John, Helen and David. Des will be sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Bill, his adoring grandchildren Hannah and Eva, brother Eamon and sister Phil, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and caring neighbours. Rest in Peace. Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand this (Tuesday) evening with family in attendance from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock. Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) morning to St. Sylvester's Church, Malahide arriving at 10.50 o'clock for 11 o'clock Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to Fingal Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Down Syndrome Ireland.
FLANAGAN Desmond (Malahide) On the First Anniversary August 30, 2015 of Desmond's passing, Una, John, Helen and David wish to express our appreciation and sincere thanks to Desmond's brother, Eamon and his sister Phil, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and caring neighbours and those that sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy, donations and flowers and especially those that attended Kirwan's Funeral Home, the funeral Mass and travelled long distances. Thanks also to doctors and nurses at Beaumont Hospital, Rev Brendan Duggan C.S.S.p. and Very Rev. Kevin Moore who concelebrated the funeral Mass in St. Sylvester's Church, Malahide.
