FARRELL, Brian, Dundrum, Dublin 14. First Anniversary, November 10 - Remembering our darling Brian. Cherished husband of Marie-Thérèse (née Dillon), brother of Eithne Carey (Galway), father of Jeanne-Marie (Naomi's deceased twin sister) Naomi, Bernard, Miriam, David, Rachel, Theo and Brian. So loved and so missed by his wife, sister, children, and their wives, husbands and partners, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The outpouring of sadness, the hundreds of letters, cards, emails, flowers and wonderful stories from friends far and wide have given us consolation and helped us get through our heartfelt grief over the last year. A Mass will be held at Rathmines Parish Church at 10.00am on November 11 to celebrate Brian's life and mark this First Year Anniversary.Requiescat in pace.

Many happy memories of dinner at the Farrels and in particular Brian taking me swimming with Miriam, Naomi, Bernard and the younger ones. Lovely, lovely man. Colette Hartie (nee Gaul).

Condolences from Seán Walsh, The Hague

Brian Farrell lectured me in politics in UCD in the early 80s. I remember vividly his hour long lecture in November 1983 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the assassination of JFK. I admired Mr Farrell very much. My condolences to his family and friends.
