DARGAN - Michael (Dublin) - Saturday 15th June 2024. Coming up to the first anniversary of Dad’s sad loss, his daughters Noeleen, Margaret, Freda, Catriona, Mary, Susan, Jean and his sister Deirdre would like to sincerely thank all of the many friends and family who sent Mass cards, so many letters and kind messages of sympathy. Dad loved sport and we are particularly grateful to the many members and past Presidents of Old Belvedere Rugby club and Phoenix Cricket Club who attended his funeral, told us some great stories and made it a special occasion to celebrate what he loved. The support he got from members of these clubs over recent years has been very much appreciated by all of us. To the carers and nursing staff in the nursing home where he spent his last few years, thank you. We would also like to especially thank Fr Michael Shields SJ, Monsignor Ciaran O’Carroll and Fr Paddy Greene SJ for the very special and meaningful Mass to celebrate a long life well lived. Thanks to all, he is missed but along with Mum he is well remembered.
