O'CONNOR, Paula (Cabinteely, Dublin 18) - Monday 2nd October 2023. We are heartbroken to announce the death of our darling Paula. The cherished wife of Marc and adoring Mum to our two sons, Adam and Simon; and grandma (GiGi) to Sebastian and Franklin. An absolute inspiration to her daughters-in-law Michelle and Holly. A rock to her sisters Marie Louise and Michele, and her goddaughters Rebecca and Aisling. She was the eldest daughter of Mary and the late Louis Gondry and a big sister to her late brother Peter. Paula is going to be missed enormously by her brothers-in-law Ken and Juan, sisters-in-law Fiona, Alma and Nuala, her nieces and nephews and a myriad of our extended family, fantastic friends and neighbours. With special thanks to the wonderful staff of Cedar Ward in St. Vincent's Private Hospital for their compassionate and gentle care of Paula. She will repose at our home on Wednesday, 4th October 2023 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. Funeral Ceremony on Thursday, 5th October 2023 at 10:00am at Newlands Cross Crematorium, Dublin 24. The Ceremony will be streamed using the following: www.dctrust.ie/location/newlands-cross/chapel-webstream.html . Family flowers only, please. O'CONNOR - Paula (Second Anniversary). In Loving Memory of Paula. It is now two years since my darling Paula, passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 63. She was a devoted wife, Mother, grandmother, and sister. Our Paula was a true force of nature, a tower of strength, and an inspiration to all who knew her. Married for 40 years, myself and Paula celebrated our Ruby anniversary just two months before she died. Paula was a beacon of light, "perfect at everything she set her mind or hand to," and will be forever missed. She is dearly missed by myself Marc; her sons Adam and Simon; daughters-in-law Michelle and Holly; and her cherished grandchildren, Sebastian, Franklin, and now baby Romy. She also leaves behind her devoted sister, Marie Louise, goddaughter Rebecca, and a myriad of fantastic relations and friends. We were all so fortunate to have had her in our lives.

We love you always Paula,

And You will be forever in our hearts.

O'CONNOR - The family of the late Paula O’Connor (nee Gondry) (Cabinteely D18) who died on October 2, 2023, would like to extend our deepest gratitude and thanks on this, the first anniversary of her passing, to all of those who offered their support and sympathies during our time of loss and great sadness. Thank you to our family, friends and neighbours, your kindness provided us with great comfort. We are especially thankful to those who travelled long distances to be with us for Paula’s Funeral. Your being there meant more to us than words could ever adequately express. We are also very appreciative of the wonderful care Paula received from the doctors and staff of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. The care given to Paula, especially during her final few days, was absolutely incredible. And so now we gently say goodbye to our darling Paula for another year with all of our love to all of you, from all of the O’Connor family.
