KEENAN DAFFY - Clare 23 August 2022 Remembering Clare with love and fond memories. Also, remembering Alan 26 April 2016. The Keenan family.

KEENAN DAFFY - On this Clare’s First Anniversary, her family - brother Brendan, sisters Teresa and Eileen, sisters-in-law Frances and Nan and brother-in-law David, nieces, nephews and nephews-in-law wish to thank most sincerely all who sympathised with us at the time of our bereavement.

Our sincere thanks to Marymount Care Centre for the great care shown to Clare and the beautiful farewell she received when leaving on her final journey. To her friends and neighbours, particularly, Clare and Mairead, Rosalind and Gerry, thank you. A very special thank you to her Home Carers Angela and Tracie for their valued friendship and the wonderful care given to Clare over her last years at home.

Our heartfelt thanks - to all our relatives, Clare’s many friends, neighbours, former work colleagues from Jervis Street and the Mater Private Hospitals, members of the Fianna Fail Cumann Dublin West, and all who attended the removal, funeral Mass and the Crematorium; many of whom travelled long distances. To all for sharing your fond memories of Clare in the many letters, online condolences, Mass cards and phone calls we received, so very much appreciated.

Special thanks - to the team at Staffords Funeral Directors for their guidance and assistance in organising the funeral arrangements. To all at Laurel Lodge Parish who participated in making Clare’s final farewell so memorable, in particular, Rev Fr Brendan Quinlan, St Thomas the Apostle Church who, together with Rev Fr Damian, former Chaplain to Mater Private Hospital, celebrated the funeral Mass. To Rosalind O’Dowd for her beautiful singing and the Organist Noreen O’Donoghue.

Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
