PORTER, Sheila (née Dunn) (Dundrum, Dublin and formerly of Blackburn, England) - March 20, 2023 (peacefully); in the kind care of St. Vincent’s University Hospital and having spent three previous years at home in the wonderful care of Marcel Salazar. Beloved wife of the late Prof. Neil Porter and loving mother of Rahel. Predeceased by her sister Maureen, brother Brian and grand-daughter Jess. Very sadly missed by her daughter, son-in-law, Diarmuid, treasured grand-daughters, Isabella and Lara, sisters, Rita, Josie and Hilary, brother Peter, nieces and nephews and her extended family, friends and kind neighbours. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum today (Wednesday) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) morning to the Church of the Holy Cross, Dundrum for Funeral Mass at 10.30am which may be viewed on the following link, www.dundrumparish.com/webcam/, followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland. Rest in Peace.
