BYRNE, Brendan (late of Terenure) March 16, 2023. Peacefully in the care of the wonderful staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross (St. Gabriel’s Ward). Son of the late Eileen and James Byrne. Predeceased by his brothers Gerard, Seamus and Desmond. Beloved husband of Colette and loving father of Elizabeth, Shonagh, James and Gregory. He will be greatly missed by his devoted family, his brother Francis, sister Gabrielle, sister-in-law Carmel and brother-in-law Edwin; his son-in-law Sonny and daughters-in-law Wendy and Becky; adored grandchildren Amaya, Sophia, Henry and Josie; and his treasured nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and comrades. Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road today (Wednesday) from 3.00pm to 5.00pm for a private family gathering and also tomorrow (Thursday) from 3.00pm to 5.00pm for friends and comrades. Removal on Friday morning to Richmond Barracks (Inchicore D08 YY05) arriving for a humanist service at 10.00am, in celebration of his life, followed by burial in Goldenbridge Cemetery at 12.00 noon.
