STAVELEY Derek Arthur. In the week of the First Anniversary of Derek's death (June 2), his wife Andrea (née McAllister) and children, Georgina, Simon, Julian and Damian and their families would like to thank all those who came to the wake in Tourmakeady and those who attended at the funeral Mass in Haddington Road. Special thanks are due for the friendship and assistance of the following members of the clergy; Archbishop Neary, Bishop John Fleming, Bishop Francis Duffy, Monsignor Dermot Farrell, Father John Kenny and Father Fachtna McCarthy. The last nine years of Derek's life were eased by the wonderful care and attention that he received in Galway Clinic from the staff, nurses and particularly doctors Joe Martin and Maccon Keane. Also, to Dr. Noel Rice (Tourmakeady) and McCauliffe's Pharmacy in Castlebar. We are so grateful to the neighbours, friends and relatives who were a constant source of support, in particular, Joe Queenan (Foxford Woollen Mills) and the Dolan and Prendergast families in Tourmakeady. We wish to thank Rocky Moran Funeral Undertakers, Castlebar for their wonderful services.A Silent Thought
