McELROY - Jane (née Cronin), (Ballsbridge and Clogherhead) September 24, 2020 - As we lovingly remember Jane on her First Anniversary, her children Mary, Jane, John and Peter, her sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, Frank, Geoff, John, Susan and Helena, and her ten grandchildren Louis, Lily, Rory, Johnny, Simon, Anna, Elise, James, Ewan and Emilia would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for all the sympathy, kindness and support shown to us at the time of her death. Jane had the good fortune that her last years at home were made comfortable and secure by the caring companionship of our ‘Spanish sister’ Maria Carazo, her weekly tea and chats with Gaye Hickey and the kindness of her Nutley neighbours, especially Ann Devlin and Vivion Tarrant. Regular phone calls and visits from her cousin Anne Kennedy (Kinsale) and her dear friends gave her much joy. For the tremendous care Jane received from Dr. Richard Blake and her kind, attentive carers, particularly Joy and Wioletta, we thank you most sincerely. Anyone who knew Jane knows that her Happy Place was by the sea in Cloghercove and to our friends and neighbours there we say thank you for over fifty years of wonderful summer memories. We also remember Jane’s beloved husband Stanley and her darling daughter Cathy.
