WALSH - On this, the first anniversary of the death of Michael Walsh (late of School Road, Lahinch, Co. Clare), Maeve would like to express her sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with her on Mick's passing; to those who attended the removal, Mass and funeral and those who sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy and floral tributes. A special word of thanks to Fr Denis Crosbie, Fr Des McAuliffe and Fr Donough O'Malley and to Mary Duffy, Gertie McGrath and the Choir at Liscannor Church for the beautiful Mass; to Arthur Quinlan for his wonderful tribute to Mick; to Frank Sheahan, Pat and Rose Pratt for their help and support throughout his illness, funeral and beyond; to all his friends and colleagues from Shannon and Bantry; to Gerry Griffin (funeral director) for all the arrangements and, finally, to all those in Lahinch, Liscannor and Ennistymon who were all so supportive. Trusting that this will be accepted by all in grateful appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
