NUGENT - John D. (Sonas Village, Athlone, Co. Westmeath and formerly, Dublin) November 17, 2020 peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the compassionate care of the wonderful staff of St. Joseph's Ward, Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe. Predeceased by his beloved Maria and his

brothers Peter (Fr Andrew) and Patrick. Sadly missed by his loving children Peter, Michael, Mary, Patrick, Liz, James, Jennifer, (Mullins), Elaine and Joanne (Grennan), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother James and his wife Margaret and Siobhan Nugent. John will be a sad loss to his eighteen grandchildren who were a great joy to him. Also missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many

good friends. In keeping with current guidelines and with the support and agreement of the family, the funeral will take place privately for family only. The funeral cortege will leave his daughter Joanne's home (Clara) tomorrow (Friday)

morning and will arrive at St. Mary's Church, Athlone for Mass of the Resurrection at 10.30am. Burial afterwards in St. Coman's Cemetery, Roscommon Town. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to St. Vincent de Paul. For those wishing to offer their sympathies we suggest
