MacGRÃIL, Fr. Mícheál SJ, (Loughloon, Westport and Upper Gardiner Street, Dublin), peacefully in his 92nd year at Mayo University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Austin and Molly, brother Sean and sister Mary. Deeply regretted by his loving brothers Austin, Fr. Owen and Padraic, sister-in-law Margie, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives, St. Francis Xavier Jesuit Community and The Irish Jesuit Province, former students and colleagues of Maynooth University, neighbours and his many friends. Fr. Mícheál's remains will repose in The Cuslough Community Centre (F28 HY30) tomorrow (Wednesday) from 5.00pm with removal at 8.00pm to The Church of the Sacred Heart, Cushlough. Removal on Thursday morning (January 26) at 9.30am to St. Mary's Church, Westport via Loughloon. Fr. Mícheál will repose in St. Mary's Church from 11.00am until 12.30pm. Requiem Mass will take place at 1.00pm with the funeral proceeding to Aughavale Cemetery. Funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.churchtv.ie/westport. We are so sad to learn of Fr Mc Grail passing. Our sincere sympathy to his family and friends. Lovely memories of him calling to Richies for the cupa and toastie.
