WINKELMANN - Carmel E. (née Aldritt) On this the weekend of the First Anniversary of Mum's death (June 12) we her children Paul, Lucy and Adam, together with our families, especially her sister Olive O'Brien, wish to express our gratitude to all those who sympathised with us at the time of Carmel's death. We would like to offer our great appreciation to the care given to Mum by the wonderful staff at St. Vincent's University Hospital (your kindness will never be forgotten). A special thank you to her nephew Donal O'Brien and niece Mary O'Brien, for all your attention and care over the years, but most of all at the end of her life. Carmel had so many friends from all walks of life, far too many to thank individually, but her friends Dolores, Darragh, Daniel and "the bin man and his missus" deserve a special mention. We are indebted to all at the Royal Irish Yacht Club, The National Yacht Club and Dublin Bay Sailing Club. A special thanks to those at her “usual haunts” in Blackrock Shopping Centre and Mackens Pharmacy, who were like family to Mum and again too many to mention individually. To the Rev. Eric Cooney for the wonderful service on of the day of her funeral and lovely words, as we put Mum in her final resting place at "The Muglins" and to all those who helped her wish be fulfilled on that sad but wonderful day. We also appreciate the sensitive care given to us by Carnegies Funeral Directors and the beautiful flowers by Blooms and Bows, Monkstown. Thank you also for your donations to the RNLI. We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation. Mum we wish you "Fair winds and following seas"
